Thanksgiving haiku

As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, it gives us a great opportunity to create some Thanksgiving themed haiku. Perhaps you could write one about the meal itself or some special dish. Maybe you want to write about the parade or the football. That stuffed feeling after you eat?  Or (possibly the best suggestion) write about what makes you thankful.  Can’t wait to see them!  (I’m sure everyone has one in them)

  1. Turkey and family,
    one is stuffed and one will be;
    wait, save room for pie.

  2. Check both ends of bird
    back door neck is a given
    heart hides in fat chest
