Suggested theme Thursday: Random word challenge!

Last night, I stumbled upon a site that listed a few random words and suggested writers incorporate these into their newest poetic creation. I thought that sounded pretty good, so I tried it. And tonight, I’ll throw out two sets of words here… Using a wonderful random word generator on-line, I’ll list two sets of seven words. If you’re struggling for a little inspiration, trying working all of these into your poem. Or maybe just a few.  Or maybe all 14… let’s see what we get.

Set 1: pew, curliest, break, radiator, paged, trim, sender

Set 2: swami, injuring, blindfold, cautionary, son, polite, fence

Totally random indeed…

  1. Gotta say, I tried using these words last night, and created two new pieces. One using nearly all the words, and one focused a bit more on the one word (swami) that I left out of the first piece.

Anyone else try or plan to try?
